Assessment Information
SATs papers are the statutory tests taken by primary school children to test their knowledge of the national curriculum, as well as monitor the school’s progress as a whole.
Children at Grange Junior will sit on a set of SATs papers during key stage 2, when they’re in year 6 and around 10-11 years old.
SATs are taken during the summer school term, generally in May of each year.

The Multiplication Tables Check
The Multiplication Tables Check is administered to your child at the end of Year 4. The test helps teachers and school leaders identify which pupils are secure in their multiplication tables and which pupils may need additional support to get there.
The Multiplication Tables Check is an online test with 25 questions. Your child must answer each question within a 6 seconds time limit so the whole test will take less than 5 minutes. You can follow the link below for parent information on The Multiplication Tables Check:
