We are proud to announce that 26 of our students have been officially welcomed as Mini-Police officers, a fantastic initiative led by Swindon Police's Stratton team.

The students made their promises during a special event and are now ready to embark on this exciting journey. PCSO Xu will be leading the sessions throughout the school year, offering the children an incredible opportunity to gain insight into police roles, use equipment like radios, and work on solving a local community issue.

Speaking about the scheme, PC Deller and PCSO Xu said:

“Mini-Police is a fantastic scheme we offer to junior schools. Those that apply and are selected get an insight into some of the police roles, get to use police equipment (like the radios), and work on a local community problem. We are just as excited to run the sessions as the children are to get involved!”

This programme not only helps our students learn valuable skills but also encourages them to play an active role in their community. We are thrilled to see them embrace this opportunity with enthusiasm and pride.

Congratulations to our Mini-Police officers – we can’t wait to see the great things you’ll accomplish this year!
